Merchant Onboarding Freelancer (Direct Outreach)

Contract Duration: 4 November 2025 – 31 December 2025

Working Days: Monday to Friday (No weekends)

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM & 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (4 hours/day)

Pay: S$80/day + S$25 commission per hawker onboarded

We're looking for motivated and outgoing individuals to join our team as Merchant Onboarding Freelancers for a short-term project.

Your main role will be to visit hawker centres in the CBD, introduce our Company to hawkers, and help them get onboarded onto our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct direct outreach to hawkers and small merchants within assigned hawker centres
  • Explain our company's concept and benefits clearly and persuasively
  • Assist merchants through the onboarding and registration process (including contract signing and QR code setup)
  • Collect essential merchant information accurately and efficiently
  • Represent us professionally and build positive relationships with hawkers
  • Provide feedback to the internal team on merchant responses and field observations

Requirements

  • Friendly, confident, and comfortable speaking with hawkers and business owners face-to-face
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese preferred
  • Basic smartphone literacy — able to guide others through simple app setup
  • Responsible, punctual, and well-presented
  • Able to walk between hawker centres and work outdoors during the day
  • Prior experience in sales, F&B, or customer service is an advantage
  • Able to commit to the stated working days and hours

Work Location:

Hawker centres across Singapore's Central Business District (CBD) — including Amoy Street, Maxwell, Market Street, Tanjong Pagar Plaza, Hong Lim, People's Park, Chinatown Complex, and Lau Pa Sat
