As an Apprentice at Greif you will gain:

• Hands-on experience in electrical installation and electronic engineering
• On-the-job training and guidance from experienced professionals to supplement your classroom learning program
• Opportunities for career advancement based on performance and qualifications

You will have the opportunity to:

• Learn and apply electrical procedures for various equipment types
• Assist in diagnosing electrical issues and performing necessary repairs
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
• Work collaboratively with experienced technicians and supervisors
• Support projects involving the upgrading and optimization of facility and production equipment.
• Assist in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, including maintenance logs, electrical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and internal maintenance procedures.
• Provide after-hours support for urgent breakdowns or maintenance activities.
• Conduct periodic inspection and testing of electrical systems to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Trade or Technical School, actively pursuing Certification or an Associate's Degree in an Electrical-related discipline, such as Electrical Installation or Electronic Engineering.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work part-time 20 hours per week on-site in one of our local plants while attending school
• Legally authorized to work in Singapore
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems preferred
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Good command of written and spoken English; ability to write technical reports
