Draftsman – Iron

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed drawings and fabrication plans for iron and steel construction works, including structural frameworks, railings, gates, staircases, and other metal components. The role requires precision, technical skill, and the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings to support efficient fabrication and installation.

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly layouts for iron and steel structures.
• Interpret and convert architectural and structural plans into accurate working drawings for workshop and site use.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with design specifications, standards, and safety codes.
• Revise and update drawings as required by project changes or client feedback.
• Assist in material take-off and prepare cutting lists for fabrication.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings and technical files.
• Support project execution by providing technical input to the fabrication and installation teams.
