Job description:

GENERAL

  1. Carry out the engineering maintenance programs on M&E services and non-clinical equipment.
  2. Supervise the preventive maintenance works and breakdown repairs carried out by the contractors.
  3. Commission new facilities and equipment.
  4. Evaluate the proposal by user departments to condemn facilities/equipment or carry out improvement works.
  5. Update the maintenance and breakdown records into the computerised system.
  6. Update changes to improvement works in drawings and manuals.
  7. Maintain the workshop facilities, tools and test equipment.
  8. Operate the Facilities Control Centre helpdesk and store as and when required.
  9. Identify and initiate spare parts procurements.
  10. Inspect, test, service, troubleshoot all facilities and equipment to maximise their availability.
  11. Upkeep all facilities and equipment in the building to maintain the image of the hospital.
  12. Assist the Engineers and Technical Officers as and when required.

SPECIFIC

  1. Work 2 rotating shift morning and shift afternoon to support hospital automated guided vehicle operators from Monday to Saturday.
  2. Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Head of Department.
