Senior Python Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and solution design, with added value if capable of leading and mentoring team members.

This role involves working closely with business analysts, clients, and technical teams to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with users, clients, and cross-functional technology teams to understand requirements, recommend programming solutions, and support customer systems.
  • Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities, performance issues, and potential improvements.
  • Conduct unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgments to recommend and implement solutions effectively.
  • Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) — from requirement gathering, design, coding, deployment management, to production issue management.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical workflows, frameworks, and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain web and console (batch job) applications using Python, Django, and MySQL.
  • Prioritize security best practices throughout the development process and ensure code quality, documentation, and system stability.
  • Collaborate with team members for code reviews and continuous improvement.
  • Work independently or as part of a local/global team to achieve on-time delivery of projects.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to deliver innovative and practical solutions to complex technical problems.
  • Envision and implement system features and functionalities based on user requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development or application support.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Django framework, and MySQL.
  • Experience with web development and Amazon Web Services (AWS); familiarity with Java Spring Boot is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of memory caching techniques and tools (e.g., Redis, Memcached).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound technical decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience is an added advantage.
