Senior Assoc, SNOC Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer, Group Infrastructure and Cloud, Group Technology

Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of the Secure Network Operations Centre (SNOC), including monitoring infrastructure and application systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Incident/Problem Management, Infrastructure/Application SMEs) to improve monitoring alerts and communication workflows.
- Assist in generating and maintaining SNOC monitoring metrics and reports for operational and management use.
- Participate in regular reviews of monitoring effectiveness and suggest areas for improvement.
- Help ensure change governance procedures are followed for all monitoring changes to production.
- Provide timely escalation of incidents or improvement opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with service providers and vendors to ensure quality monitoring services are delivered.
- Participate in on-call duty rotation to support 24x7 monitoring coverage.
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience, preferably in an operations, infrastructure, or monitoring support role.
- Hands-on experience with at least one monitoring tool (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Search, or others).
- Basic scripting knowledge in Shell, Python, or similar languages.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Organized, proactive, and able to handle pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Willing to learn and grow technical skills in monitoring and automation.
- Exposure to container platforms (e.g., OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
