Cogent owns one of Singapore's largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1.Logistics Hub. It offers warehousing, transportation, freight forwarding, container depot, ISO tank depot and automotive logistics services in Singapore.

Role Description

The Customer Service officer will be responsible to perform shipping documentation, fulfil customers' order, attend to their enquiries and maintain a good working relationship with them.

Duties:

  1. Actively engage with customers to resolve feedback to ensure high level of satisfaction.
  2. Liaise with customers on container/cargo/material/ inventory and other administrative and customer service duties.
  3. Liaise with internal departments, vendors and third parties to process order requests from customers.
  4. Maintain all shipping and tracking records of customer inventory and movement accurately using customer's system and our WMS / TMS.
  5. Generate, maintain and submit a variety of reports periodically or as and when required.
  6. Attend to customers' requests to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  7. Create job order and monitor their progress to ensure deadlines or specified dates are met.
  8. Monitor trucking jobs and provide timely update to customers on shipment details including update of container details to system.
  9. Assist in permit declarations for job orders when required.
  10. Ensure accuracy and precision of billing processes and maintain billing system data integrity.
  11. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Requirement:

  1. Diploma or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related field.
  2. Fresh graduates with internship experience in logistics company are encouraged to apply, OJT will be provided.
  3. Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service/ shipping documentation role in a 3PL company.
  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues and external partners.
  5. Competent in using TradeNet is an advantage.
