Gallery Intern

Expected start date: Immediate (Minimum 3-month commitment)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be outgoing and friendly to conduct gallery tours and be the first point of contact with walk-ins, while overseeing the safety of artworks
• Handle gallery day-to-day operations, maintenance of artworks, gallery space and exhibition setup
• Perform basic administrative duties, update gallery exhibitions and related activities on the website and digital platforms; develop researching and writing skills
• Hold gallery-appropriate conduct and attire at all times
• Support the Director and Managers with ad-hoc duties

Job Requirements:

• Fresh grads/ Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply
• Experience in the Arts and in sales will be an advantage
• Must be willing to learn and have a positive working attitude
• Articulate speaker with a strong grasp of the English language
• Able to work shift hours, weekends and public holidays
• Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm
• Duration of the internship is negotiable with opportunities to turn into a full-time

Founded in 2019, Cuturi Gallery is a contemporary art gallery based in Singapore with a strong focus on emerging Singaporean talents, many of whom form the core of the gallery's roster. While rooted in its local context, Cuturi Gallery also actively collaborates with emerging and established artists across borders, extending its vision beyond Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific, fostering meaningful exchanges that bridge cultural perspectives between the East and the West. This ongoing dialogue is central to the gallery's mission.
