Warehouse Assistant Manager

1. Warehouse Operations Management

2. Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatch of products

3. Ensure smooth and safe operations of all warehouse equipment
4. Maintain a high level of operational efficiency by recommending and implementing continuous improvement initiatives

5. Optimize warehouse space utilization and workflow

6. Inventory Management

7. Create a seamless inventory system that will be beneficial to the sales and operations teams

8. Forecasting for the procurement of assets
9. Maintain and up-to-date inventory of all operations assets, tools and machinery, including their serial numbers, condition, and location
10. Asset lifecycle management – Track the lifespan of each asset, keeping a detailed record of all repairs, inspections, and certifications
11. Supervise inventory control processes to ensure accuracy and proper stock levels
12. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies

13. Manage kit shortfall or unavailability

14. Optimization of virtual inventory platforms

15. Manage and optimize the usage of the Rentman platform and any other affiliated systems the company might adopt in the future

16. Conduct detailed inventory audits and update inventory records to rectify discrepancies

17. Liaise with website developers to address technical issues in a timely manner

18. Standby Driver

19. Provide ad-hoc transportation support for deliveries, responding promptly to delivery requests on an ad-hoc basis

20. Operate delivery vehicles safely and responsibly, ensuring equipment are delivered to event venue as soon as possible and in good condition
21. Ensure proper handling of products, including loading and unloading, to avoid damages during transit
22. Report any vehicle issues, maintenance needs, or accidents promptly
23. Co-ordinate with warehouse team to ensure seamless and efficient operations

24. Help other team members with loading and unloading as needed, especially in emergency or high-demand situations

25. Maintenance

26. Monitor the performance of all company operations assets (assets), enabling early identification of issues before they cause equipment failure

27. Conduct regular servicing of all operations assets to ensure equipment are in proper working condition
28. Repair operations assets as required, to ensure equipment are certified fit-for-use

29. Test all equipment to ensure that they meet performance standards

30. Ad-Hoc Operations Support

31. Where required, to install, adjust, and operate electronic equipment to record, edit, and transmit radio and television programs, motion pictures, video conferencing, or multimedia presentations.

7.Team Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of performance, safety, and employee engagement
• Provide training on warehouse processes, safety protocols, and equipment use
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for improvement
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local safety regulations

• Promote a safe working environment by maintaining clean, organized workspaces and enforcing safety protocols

• Logistics and Shipping Coordination

• Work closely with Project Managers to plan and set delivery timelines for operations teams

• Collaborate with transportation teams to ensure timely delivery and receiving of equipment

• Track and report on warehouse KPIs, such as shipping accuracy, order fulfilment time, and inventory turnover Monitor the preparation and dispatch of orders to meet customer delivery deadlines

• Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of all warehouse transactions, inventory counts, and order details

• Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, staffing needs, and operational issues

• Supplier and Vendor Relations

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for deliveries and resolving any supply chain issues

• Ensure that all materials received are inspected for damage and accuracy

• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, and customer issues

• Dri-Rentals

• Manage the dri-rental google sheet with accurate details on equipment movement
  Provide weekly updates to management team

• Support the operations team and Project Managers

• Other duties that may arise from time to time as may be assigned to the Employee
