Hi I'm Jon, the owner of Homeground Gym @ 352 Clementi Ave. 2. We brand ourselves as a PT gym over here.

I want you to join me ASAP in this beautiful PT gym as a Freelance Gym Personal Trainer.

Despite the role being "freelance", most of my PTs get enough clients from me such that they can get an end-of-month remuneration that matches a full-time job outside. I don't restrict you from taking clients outside of my gym (why would I stop you from providing value to more ppl and earning a better living for yourself?)

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Be a competent and friendly personal trainer to our clients:

I don't need you to be a drill sergeant because our clients don't come to be lectured or "learn". Most of the time they want to shut off their mind and be led by an understanding (yet with standards) trainer to achieve their fitness objectives in a relaxing & friendly environment (HEY, being less stressed out is a prerequisite for fat loss, muscle gain, and overall well-being okay). As a PT, just relaxxxxx and have fun with our clients. Be genuinely curious about their lives; be a good listening ear; understand them; be their trusted friend, okay?

  • Constantly upgrade yourself as a personal trainer with our existing team

  • Conduct 1-hr high-quality trials for potential PT members, helping them see the need for a PT to guide them in their fitness & personal growth journey

  • Always put our clients' well-being first

Working Hours & Arrangements

  • Be present only for trials & PT sessions

  • Our marketing team may require you to take part in filming or content creation to help you build your own branding

  • In the beginning we definitely don't have a ready pool of clients for you to train, and we need to work well together to conduct high-quality trials for potential PT members so they can trust you enough to train them. ALWAYS seek to provide value for them — members or not

  • I have a healthy track record of filling all PTs with 10-20 clients within 2 months (provided they were competent, hungry for success, and have great personality & work ethic)

Remuneration & Benefits

  • $40/session for a client's 1st package, $50/session when a client renews a package.

  • Starting from $50/session when you bring in your own clients to our gym.

  • Trial incentive when a new client signs up for a package.

Additional Benefits:

  • FREE gym membership & Pilates sessions at HGGP Clementi during your employment duration.

  • BONUSES when the club performs well.

  • OPPORTUNITIES to cross-train or conduct workshops for additional income.

  • INTRODUCTION TO FREELANCE GIGS at other Homeground Gym clubs (Farrer Park, Tampines, Jurong) when available.

  • 80% of our PT clients are ladies

  • Most clients want to lose fat & gain muscle

  • Most clients are at least 30 years old
