Financial Reporting/ Business Controlling roles for closing of accounts.

Financial Profitability & Analysis (FP&A).

Key Job Accountabilities:

As part of an experienced Finance team:

  • Assist in closing of monthly accounts (P&L, BS, Cashflow projections and other monthly closing schedules).
  • Assist in preparation of financial reports (Hyperion, business reports, orders reporting.
  • Assist to provide required financial information/support to business and operations.
  • Engage in tax preparation and GST review
  • Management reporting and KPI measurement for financial targets to be aligned with business outcomes, financial reporting and net working capital management (NWC)
  • Assist in Forecast and Budgeting including 5-year Plan (Preparation of Budget templates, and liaise with various stakeholders).
  • Assist in adhoc reporting required like DS/MSS/Codex Business Benchmarking and Industry Analysis/ Peers and Continuous improvement projects.
  • Liaise both internal and external auditors.

Specific Technical Skills Required

  • Well versed in Financial Reporting Standards and it is critical be able to apply the FRSes for the respective financial accounts under purview
  • Hands on and familiar with Project Management / WBS in SAP
  • Handling/Analyze Project PL (WBS balances/data regularly)
  • Prior experience in Hyperion and SAP is an added advantage.
  • Assist to provide indepth Powerpoint/ Presentation to Senior Management within required timeline.
  • Able to learn and grasp concepts like Contract Assets/ Contract Liabilities, Return on Capital Employed (RoCE) and Orderbook concept

  • Deliver task on time with quality as requested
  • Willing to work OT and during weekends (in order to meet the timeline)
  • Able to demonstrate thorough analytical skills process
  • Able to think and work independently with minimum but clear guidance
  • Strong business partnering skills, a collaborative mindset, and interpersonal skiils to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and a resourceful team player with hand-on approach to problem-solving.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications
  • At least >5 years of Financial Accounting and Business Controlling;
  • Proficient with MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, SAP
  • Knowledge on Project Costing/ WBS settlement will be preferred
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills and sound knowledge of accounting, taxation standards and relevant statutory requirements
  • Able to work independently under pressure
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
