Lonza Singapore belongs to the Biologics business unit and plays a critical role in supporting GMP manufacturing operations for biopharmaceutical products. The Engineering team ensures smooth, reliable, and compliant operation of equipment and facilities to support the production of life-saving medicines.

As an
Associate Engineer (Technician)
, you will be responsible for supporting validation and maintenance activities related to temperature-sensitive equipment (e.g., autoclaves, freezers, cold rooms), conducting elastomer change-outs, and assisting in the setup of new equipment. You will ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and company standards while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting project execution.

What You Will Do

  • Set up and maintain temperature mapping for critical equipment.
  • Perform elastomer change-outs and routine maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the setup and installation of new equipment, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Provide technical assistance to Capex and engineering projects.
  • Accurately record maintenance, calibration, and mapping results.
  • Adhere to GMP, EHS, and safety standards; manage work permits for external vendors.
  • Escalate non-compliance issues, delays, or equipment breakdowns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

  • Good understanding of cGMPs and operation of a biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
