About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Care Teacher to join our dynamic team at Talent Scout Student Care Centre Pte. Ltd. in the Woodlands North Region. This part-time role will involve providing a nurturing and enriching environment for primary school students, supporting their academic, social, and personal development.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and caring for a group of primary school students during before and after-school hours
  2. Assisting students with their homework and providing academic support
  3. Organising and leading engaging educational activities, such as group games, arts and crafts, and recreational programs
  4. Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students' social and emotional growth
  5. Communicating effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child's progress
  6. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all students in your care

What we're looking for

  1. A relevant teaching or education-related qualification, such as a diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  2. Experience working with primary school-aged children in a classroom or student care setting
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and build positive relationships
  4. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  5. Creativity and a passion for engaging students in enriching activities
  6. A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
  7. Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with both students and parents
