Job Responsibilities
At Marina Bay Sands, Housekeeping is more than just a support function—it is the heartbeat of our guest experience. With every detail meticulously maintained, the department plays a vital role in upholding the luxury and comfort that define our brand. This programme is designed to nurture and prepare individuals through a structured development plan and hands-on experience, offering
a clear pathway for those passionate about hospitality. It comprises three progressive phases— Foundation, Supervisory, and Leadership—each tailored to equip and develop team members with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to excel in their roles and grow professionally.
Foundation Phase:
Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas.
Handle guest requests promptly and efficiently.
Manage supplies and inventory effectively.
Uphold safety standards and protocols.
Participate in rotational assignments for practical experience.
Adhere to organization culture and policies.
Supervisory Phase:
Assign tasks and inspect completed work.
Coach and mentor junior staff.
Manage scheduling and performance evaluations.
Communicate effectively across departments.
Handle escalated guest concerns.
Foster a collaborative work environment.
Leadership Phase:
Lead and mentor junior team members.
Manage budgets and resources.
Implement innovative solutions to improve departmental performance.
Participate in development projects addressing operational challenges.
Create and deliver training programs tailored to a diverse workforce.
Job Requirements
Education and Certification
Diploma or Degree undergraduate in your final year of study in any discipline; or a recent graduate
Experience
Less than 2 years of working experience
