Executive (Home Personal Care Supervisor)

Job Summary:
This role oversees both staff management and client care to ensure high-quality service delivery in the Home Personal Care (HPC) service. Leading and supporting staff training, performance, and scheduling, while assessing client needs, coordinating interventions, and collaborating with partners to enhance well-being. Ensures compliance, accurate documentation, and timely reporting to maintain service excellence.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
Staff Management
- Equip staff with necessary skills and knowledge through training or external courses.
- Monitor and review performance, provide constructive feedback, and take disciplinary action when required.
- Mediate conflicts between staff and clients or within the team.
- Coach staff to resolve issues proactively and build positive client relationships.
- Manage scheduling, task delegation, and coverage during absenteeism or leave.
- Provide emotional support to improve staff morale and well-being.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and service standards.
Client Care
- Conduct client assessments, identify needs, and recommend appropriate HPC modules, resources, or external referrals.
- Document assessments, key information, and interventions provided.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to monitor and improve client well-being.
- Partner with external organisations to advocate for clients and address their needs.
- Source and work with donors or volunteers to support clients' home maintenance or improvement needs.
- Co-organise and support funded activities for clients.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Nursing/Social Work/Allied Health, or related field.
- Preferably with experience in healthcare, eldercare, or community care with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Singapore's community care sector and regulations.
