Job title: ICU Registered Nurse — Home Ventilator & Tracheostomy Care (Part-Time, Day & Night)
Employer: Private household (direct hire; no agencies)
Location: [Area, Singapore] (near [MRT line/station]) · In-home setting
Compensation: Day $25–$30/hr · Night $30–$40/hr
Schedule:
- Night shift (priority): ~12:30 am–6:00 am (6 hrs)
- Day shifts: 4–6 hr blocks (flexible)
- Build a small pool (2–6 nurses) for roster stability; extra shifts available
- Airway & ventilator care: Tracheostomy suction, stoma care, ties/dressing changes; humidification/HME filters; interface checks; alarm troubleshooting; emergency decannulation protocol (spare trach same size & −1 size).
- Ventilator & cough-assist: Routine use per protocol; secretion management; escalate when parameters/secretions change.
- Feeding & meds: PEG feeds/flushes; strict aspiration precautions; safe medication administration per family protocol.
- Monitoring & documentation: Vitals, pulse oximetry, secretion color/volume, skin integrity/pressure injury prevention; concise notes after each shift.
- Infection control & safety: Hand hygiene, sterile/clean technique as indicated; equipment upkeep (suction machine, canisters, filters).
- Family handover: Clear shift-end report; flag concerns early (resp status, tube position, fever, bleeding).
- Registered Nurse (SNB) + valid Practising Certificate (mandatory).
- BCLS+AED current; ACLS/ILS preferred.
- ≥2 years ICU/HDU/ED experience, including tracheostomy and preferably home or step-down ventilator care.
- Confident with PEG care, secretion management, and emergency escalation.
- Familiarity with Philips/ResMed/Vivo/Trilogy home ventilators; CoughAssist E70 (or similar).
- Experience in community/home nursing; ability to teach caregivers basic tasks safely.
- Nights prioritized; days flexible.
- Transport allowance for late-night shifts.
- Regular payouts by PayNow/bank transfer.
- Provide SNB reg no. & PC expiry, copy of BCLS+AED (and ACLS if any).
- Two clinical referees (one ICU CNM/NC preferred).
- Proof of professional indemnity (or indicate if you'd like us to help arrange).
- If currently employed, confirm secondary-employment policy is respected.
