The Role:

As a Technical Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of ACMV systems at the project site. Your responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily operations and performance of HVAC systems including chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, and mechanical ventilation units
  • Support planning and execution of minor improvement and retrofitting works for ACMV systems
  • Conduct inspections of contractor work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
  • Coordinate with BMS vendors and verify system integration and performance
  • Plan and supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance activities using CMMS
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality
  • Ensure safety and compliance standards are met across all maintenance activities
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and contractors
  • Assist in documentation and reporting of maintenance activities and system performance
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to optimize operational efficiency
What Are We Looking For?

We're seeking a proactive and technically skilled individual with:

  • 3–5 years of experience in facilities or building maintenance, specifically in ACMV systems
  • Strong understanding of HVAC principles and system components
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain FCUs, AHUs, chillers, pumps, motors, and BAS interfaces
  • Good supervisory skills and ability to lead maintenance teams effectively
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with CMMS and preventive maintenance planning
  • Ability to ensure compliance with safety and technical standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Willingness to work on-site and handle hands-on technical tasks
