Job Description

As part of the mechanical team in Engineering, you will help follow activities:

  • Use 3D CAD tools to design plastic and metal parts for electronic boxes
  • Support rapid testing to validate design requirements
  • Support design troubleshooting and implementing solutions
  • Support parts fabrication, product assembly, and production processes
  • Prepare technical drawings, design reports, test plans, and documentation
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure product quality and reliability

You will report to Mechanical Engineering manager based in Singapore.

Your Responsibilities:
  • You have experience with stress and strain evaluation for plastic and metal designs
  • Familiarity with 3D printing technologies and rapid prototyping techniques
  • You will Assist in designing mechanical tests for design verification
  • Understanding of plastic molding and metal fabrication processes
  • Awareness of design principles that facilitate assembly and production
  • Basic knowledge of electromechanical connectors and troubleshooting
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering
  • 1–2 years of experience in mechanical design of plastic and metal parts for electronic products (internship experience is acceptable)
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Exposure to computer modelling and simulation tools (e.g., Ansys)
  • Familiarity with shock and vibration testing methods
  • You will work with diverse teams to meet project timelines
