Logistics Coordinator

Position Summary
This position will be responsible to support all aspects of the operation using Warehouse Management System (WMS) to help drive an efficient operation as well as overcoming any system hurdles.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the coordination and preparation of all necessary documentation for the movement of warehouse cargo.
2. Prepare shipping documents and processing of orders.
3. Create and maintain reports and files for all operations records, correspondence, plans and expenses.
4. Coordinate with operations personnel to ensure readiness of cargo for deliveries.
5. Update WMS, TMS on Cargo Status.
6. Liaise with customers for all matters pertaining to shipments and deliveries.
7. Handle company projects like Kaizen, Lean, improvement, and other adhoc projects
8. Handle any other ad-hoc / administrative duties.
Qualification Summary
Experience:
1. This position requires minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Logistics industry and License Warehouse.
2. Knowledge in permit declarations for both import and export.
3. Efficient respond to emails for actions and queries.
Education:
Minimum 'O' levels or Diploma in Logistics or Business Administration.
Skills:
1. Good working knowledge of the following logistics operations areas – distribution, manufacturing, inventory planning, materials management.
2. Good Interpersonal skills
3. Good Communication skills
4. Good Knowledge in Warehouse Management System (WMS)
5. Good customer relationship management skills
6. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Working hours:
Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 6pm
