Job Summary:

We're on the hunt for a talented and driven individual to support our investment teams, playing a pivotal role in driving business growth and success. As a research analyst, you'll work closely with our CIO and investment team for idea generation and input on portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

  • Research: Research trends, develop frameworks for "around-the-corner" thinking, identity, and share new investment ideas
  • Analysis: Analyze data (e.g., usage metrics, financial metrics, tokenomics), build financial models, and perform valuation analyses to evaluate potential investments and track existing investments
  • Diligence: helping the team evaluate prospective investments through financial analysis, market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, competitor checks, and other primary research
  • Content: Write investment memos to support investment decisions and participate in investment articles for external publication
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated track record of pitching successful liquid crypto investments, ideally 2-5 years of working experience in a crypto-native investment organization
  • Strong understanding of the concepts of blockchain technology, blockchains, cryptocurrency, NFTs, DeFi, decentralized networks, wallets, and other related concepts;
  • Good communication skills and able to build strong relationships with crypto project teams
  • Ability to think independently with courage and conviction to recommend and pursue non-consensus investments
  • Deep personal excitement and commitment to the crypto industry, as demonstrated by personal investing experience or similar activity
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (First Class or Second Upper)
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented, commercial orientation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proactive and responsible - looking to own the role and build on it.
