Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Prepare detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk assessments. Conduct site measurements and feasibility checks before commencing work.
Client Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for clients. Build strong working relationships, provide clear updates, and handle feedback or issues professionally.
Subcontractor & Supplier Management: Coordinate with fabricators, installers, electricians, and other vendors. Source quotations, negotiate terms, and ensure work quality and timely delivery.
Project Execution: Manage day-to-day progress to ensure projects stay aligned with the approved design, budget, and timeline. Flag and resolve problems early to avoid delays.
Quality Assurance: Inspect completed work and materials to ensure all signage meets specifications, finish standards, and visual presentation requirements.
Compliance & Permits: Apply for relevant permits and ensure compliance with building, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout the project.
Requirements:
Education: Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
Experience: At least 2 years of project management experience; experience in signage, interior, or fit-out projects will be an advantage.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of signage production, materials (acrylic, metal, LED), fabrication processes, and installation methods. Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Problem Solving: Able to assess site issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with local authority submission and approval processes for signage installation.
Other: Possess a valid driver's license is preferred. Able to work beyond standard hours when required (e.g., night installations or urgent deadlines).
