Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reception duties, including client registration, appointment scheduling, payment collection, and invoice issuance.
  • Manage client referrals for rehabilitation under supervision of rehab team.
  • Ensure accurate charging of clients for services
  • Regularly update client statistical records and maintain strict confidentiality of client information.
  • Support the streamlining of work processes for rehab services and wellness programs.
  • Comply with clinical and service standards, as well as safety protocols.
  • Assist with client preparations for electrical stimulation, hot and cold packs, and ambulation under therapist supervision (training provided).
  • Assist the therapist in conducting exercises and rehabilitation for individual clients.
  • Supervise clients while the therapists attend to other clients.
  • Chaperon male therapists when attending to female clients.
  • Assist in pottering of clients.
  • Monitor and maintain rehab department consumables and equipment, including scheduling routine maintenance and checks.
  • Upkeep gym environment and area housekeeping.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Sports Science or equivalent preferred.
  • WSQ Higher Certificate in Therapy Services will be advantageous.
  • Valid BCLS certification.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in healthcare related institutions and 1 to 2 years' on-the-job clinical experience will be preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Service-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proven ability to influence and work collaboratively across cross-functional teams and various healthcare professionals.
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
