Workday is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Ecosystem Manager, ASEAN to lead our partnership efforts, driving significant growth and scaling our business across the region. This role is pivotal in defining and executing our partner ecosystem strategy, channels, fostering high-value partnerships, and ensuring measurable contributions to revenue and customer success.

About the Role

Key Objectives
  • Meet sourcing & influencing targets.

  • Increase presentation rates and influence with our partner ecosystem.

  • Design and execute channel (VAR/Resell) strategies to expand our reach into new markets and customer segments. 

  • Create, drive, accelerate plans across all key industries and verticals in ASEAN.

  • Drive the execution of the GTM with all our partners in the field, from pipeline to deal execution, to closing, to customer and partner satisfaction.

  • Act as an executive escalation point for sales leaders and functional leaders at Workday, and at our partners.

  • Connect Partner stakeholders to Workday Sales, building alignment, transparency, relationship, and joint agreement on plans and targets on individual prospects, and industries at detailed level.

Responsibilities: Partner Ecosystem Strategy & Growth
  • Define and execute the ASEAN System Integrator (SI) and ecosystem strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives and regional priorities.

  • Build and scale a durable, high-value partner ecosystem encompassing global system integrators (GSIs), regional partners, and other key partners across the ASEAN region.

  • Drive partner-led consumption of Workday platforms and solutions, ensuring measurable contribution to revenue, new logos, and customer success.

Ecosystem Development
  • Identify and recruit new strategic partners that align with our business objectives.

  • Lead joint business planning and co-selling initiatives with key partners, ensuring alignment with their key accounts and Go-to-Market (GTM) solutions.

  • Drive certifications and badges with our enablement and solution architects, ensuring deep technical alignment.

Executive & C-Level Engagement
  • Represent the Workday partner organization at the highest levels across the partner and customer ecosystem in ASEAN.

  • Build trusted relationships with CXOs, board members, and industry thought leaders to drive strategic initiatives, joint investments, and executive sponsorship.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Build, Inspire, mentor, and scale a high-performing alliances and channels team across ASEAN.

  • Build a world-class culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

  • Attract and retain top talent, creating clear pathways for professional development and growth.

  • Drive integration of Partners into GTM motions as part of the ASEAN GTM Leadership team.

Operational Excellence
  • Deliver target % sourced ACV pipeline at specified sales stages.

  • Deliver target $ ACV revenue.

  • Own pipeline development, partner-sourced revenue, and consumption growth metrics.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new channel opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with all channel partner agreements and policies.

  • Drive operational rigor across partner programs, governance, and reporting.

  • Develop and manage channel programs, including incentives, marketing support, and technical training.

About You

  • Sales leadership experience in technology sales, alliances, and partner ecosystem development, with a proven track record of impact across the ASEAN region.

  • Strong understanding of the ASEAN market landscape, regional partner dynamics, and cultural nuances.

  • Experience in SaaS transformation and channel economics is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated success working with hyperscalers on joint go-to-market strategies, co-selling, and co-investment.

  • Proven ability to influence C-level executives, boards, and global partner organizations.

  • Experience building and leading geographically distributed teams.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence skills.
