Marketing Communications Executive

Job Purpose

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Executive to support the planning and execution of integrated marketing and branding efforts for ValueMax Group. This role will involve developing communications that enhance brand awareness, drive footfall to outlets, promote financial services products, and strengthen customer engagement across digital and offline platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Communications & Branding

• Develop and execute marketing communication plans and campaigns to support business units (e.g. jewellery retail, wholesale gold trading and financial services).
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints including store displays, print materials, and digital channels.
• Craft compelling content for brochures, posters, banners, newsletters, and in-store signage.
• Support seasonal campaigns (e.g., Chinese New Year, Great Singapore Sale) and promotions.
• Track campaign effectiveness, sales uplift, CRM opt-in growth and report outcome.

2. Digital & Social Media Marketing

• Plan and manage content calendars for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
• Work with external agencies to develop paid media campaigns and digital ads.
• Track and report performance metrics for digital campaigns.
• Ensure timely updates on company websites and social platforms.

3. Public Relations & Media

• Draft and edit press releases, announcements, and media responses.
• Coordinate Public Relation activities and investor relations outreach
• Assist in media monitoring and competitor tracking.

4. Events & Customer Engagement

• Support planning and execution of customer engagement initiatives such as roadshows, in-store events, and loyalty programs.
• Coordinate logistics and promotional materials for events and CSR activities.

5. Internal Communications

• Assist with internal communications including staff whatsapp group messages, posters, and corporate announcements. Align outlet teams to ensure campaign readiness.
• Ensure consistent corporate identity and messaging across internal platforms.

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business, or related fields.
• 2–4 years of relevant marketing or communications experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills (English and Mandarin proficiency preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is an advantage.
• Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics).
• Good project management skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.
