Quantity Surveyor

Join an established construction company where you'll be responsible for comprehensive bidding information collection and tender preparation while managing cost control and value engineering across diverse building projects. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your quantity surveying expertise in the main-contractor field while working on HDB projects, condominiums, and commercial developments with advanced software tools.

• Tender Management Excellence: Take responsibility for bidding information collection work and master drawings and specifications according to tender document requirements while preparing comprehensive tender bill of quantities for project submissions.
• Quantity Analysis & Calculation: Carry out detailed quantity take-off for projects including sourcing suppliers and sub-contractors, collating prices for comparison, and providing guidance for other bidding staff on quantity calculations.
• Subcontract Negotiation: Handle subcontract offers and organize subcontract price negotiations while collecting, sorting, and checking other bidding calculation of quantities to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Cost Management & Documentation: Develop comprehensive unit price tables according to subcontract specifications, complete bidding quotation lists for department manager review, and maintain archive of tender offer data systematically.
• Risk & Value Management: Perform comprehensive risk assessment, value management, and cost control activities throughout project lifecycle to optimize project profitability and minimize financial exposure.

• Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Building or Quantity Surveying providing strong technical foundation for understanding construction processes, cost management, and contract administration principles.
• Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in main-contractor field with proven track record in quantity surveying, cost management, and tender preparation for construction projects.
• Project Portfolio: Working experience in HDB projects and condominiums projects with relevant experience in buildings, commercial, and mixed development projects demonstrating versatility across project types.
• Contract Expertise: Strong knowledge in contract negotiation and administration with experience in post-contract management or mixture of both pre and post-contract activities.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Glodon software for quantity surveying and cost estimation, enabling efficient project analysis and accurate quantity calculations for competitive tendering.
