Randstad is collaborating with a global leader in food manufacturing to recruit a Utilities & Facilities Manager. In this role, the manager will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of all production utilities and facilities. This includes overseeing systems such as water, electricity, HVAC, compressed air, and waste management, as well as managing services like building maintenance, cleaning, site security, and other critical facility functions.

about the job

  • Manage and maintain all utility systems—including water, electricity, HVAC, and compressed air—as well as facility services such as building maintenance, cleaning, and site security.
  • Oversee performance-based contracts to ensure utilities and facilities services are cost-effective, reliable, and fully compliant.
  • Ensure all utilities and facility operations comply with environmental, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Drive initiatives focused on improving reliability and energy efficiency, aligned with aggressive cost-reduction goals.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify optimal performance and compliance of all utility and facility systems.
  • Collaborate with the internal stakeholders to ensure utility and facility operations support overall production requirements.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all utilities and facilities, in line with global standards and policies.

skills and experience required

  • Diploma in Engineering, Building/Facilities Management or other related field
  • Preferably at least 5 years of experience in managing utilities and facilities in manufacturing
