The opportunity

This role is to identify and address potential fraud within Claims. This involves developing effective identification, prevention and deterrence strategies leveraging analytics and technology solutions, as well as generating regular intelligence reports to identify trends and patterns and provide actionable insights.

Your new role

  • Develop a comprehensive data-led fraud detection, investigation and prevention framework
  • Introduce robust data foundation and utilize data analytics and technology to enhance detection capabilities
  • Evaluate, select, and implement advanced detection tools and technologies including machine learning, GenAI, natural language processing (NLP) models to enhance the detection ability
  • Lead the implementation of the strategy to enable the delivery of overall business targets
  • Produce high-quality written reports highlighting key issues for appropriate action
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify new and emerging trends, patterns, and risks and implement effective prevention and deterrence measures
  • Submit Suspicious Activity Reports as necessary
  • Establish clear accountabilities to ensure performance
  • Assist with compliance with all relevant legislation, industry codes and company policies

About you

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant working experience
  • Knowledge of analytics tools, language, and data modelling techniques (R, Python, SQL, PowerPivot etc.)
  • Knowledge of Data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau etc.) to produce MI and detailed reports at various levels
  • Excellent analytical mind, business acumen, problem solving aptitude to identify and suggest improvements
  • Effective relationship and stakeholder Management Skills to communicate fraud prevention strategies
  • A strategic thinker and result oriented with proven record of implementing analytical solutions that deliver business impact
