Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design works for building works and civil works.
  • Supervise the drafting works related to design and coordinate for deliverables.
  • Ensure all engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice.
  • Assist QP/Project Lead in managing projects, liaise with stakeholders, clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties.
  • Liaise and coordinate with contractors, project team and design consultants and submission to authorities.
    Working independently in analyses, design, submissions, construction support and coordination works will be advantageous.

Requirements

  • Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore/Malaysia.
  • Minimum 2 years of C&S design experience.
  • With working experiences in Singapore/ Malaysia on structural engineering projects.
  • Well verse with structural engineering design to local Codes, Regulations and requirements, and Eurocode.
  • Well verse in structural design software, e.g. Tekla, STAAD Pro, SAFE, Prokon, Etabs, SAP 2000 etc.
  • Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil-structural works.
  • Experience in design/project management works in BIM.
    Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedure and construction administration.

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal..
