We are looking for a dedicated and caring Childcare Cook to join our centre. In this role, you will prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks for our children and staff, while ensuring a safe, hygienic, and enjoyable mealtime environment. Your contribution will play an important part in supporting the growth, health, and happiness of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and cook healthy meals and snacks in accordance with the centre's menu and dietary guidelines.
  • Handle full meal preparation using fresh ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and cooking large portions of meat, vegetables, and other raw materials.
  • Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Present food in a clean, safe, and appealing manner that encourages positive eating habits.
  • Work closely with the team to accommodate children's dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of the kitchen and cooking equipment, including washing of utensils.
Requirements
  • Prior experience cooking for children and/or large groups.
  • Possession of a valid Food and Hygiene Certificate.
  • Physically able to handle kitchen tasks, including lifting and moving heavy pots, pans, and food containers.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
Working Hours
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (or as discussed during interview).
Work Location
  • Bukit Timah Area
