We are partnering a Large Pharma MNC in search for an experienced accountant

The Opportunity
  • Focus: Support technical accounting processes across a regional finance hub, including preparation of accounting memos, IFRS compliance, impairment testing, and assistance with audits and internal controls.
  • The role will start off as a 12-month contractual assignment.
The Talent

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Progress toward or completion of a recognized accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA)
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive working style
  • Proficient in Excel and familiar with financial reporting tools or ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a multinational environment or regional finance team
  • Exposure to IFRS and interest in technical accounting
  • Big 4 background or experience with financial audits
  • Experience using systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
The Job
  • Assist in preparing accounting position papers and supporting documentation
  • Ensure accounting compliance with IFRS and internal policies across supported markets
  • Support the impairment testing process for intangible assets
  • Contribute to internal control documentation and reporting (e.g., SOX reviews, quarterly disclosures)
  • Maintain and help manage internal accounting tools and documentation platforms
  • Provide audit support and coordinate responses with relevant stakeholders
  • Participate in special projects or finance transformation initiatives
  • Assist with internal training or knowledge-sharing efforts as needed
