Christmas Season Retailer

Cata Coffee is looking for a Christmas Season Retailer to join our small team for the holiday season. We're looking for someone with a genuine desire to create a warm and welcoming environment for customers at our retail shop. The ideal candidate is articulate, personable and great with people. A bonus if you are able to keep calm under pressure.

Commitment:

  • 45 Hours per week (Thursdays to Mondays).

  • Able to fulfil the role for at least a 5-weeks during the festive period.

  • Flexibility to work early morning, weekend and holiday availability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on excellent customer engagement and interaction, cultivating strong relationships with prospective customers and nurturing existing customers.

  • Develop a clear knowledge of Cata's brand and visual identity, values, products, and appropriately communicate those attributes clearly.

  • Keep customers informed on new products, services, or promotions.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and to handle multiple orders at the same time.

  • Maintain at all times food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Initiative to provide support to the team when necessary.

  • Perform routine cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Experience and Skills:

  • Enthusiastic about specialty coffee, but no coffee skills are required .

  • Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality, F&B or retail.

  • Impeccable customer service and professionalism. Commitment to being helpful, friendly and caring to everyone who needs assistance (including colleagues and customers of all backgrounds).

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work cohesively with co-workers.

  • Well-spoken and clear communicator.

  • Punctual and reliable.
