Job Description:

As a 3D process equipment company in the semiconductor manufacturing industry with our international headquarter in Singapore. We have the mission to be the world-class process technology provider in the Angstrom era for 3D device manufacturing and to build an ecosystem in equipment design, manufacturing, and component/material supply chain in US and Singapore.

To support the rapid growth, we are expanding R&D class100 cleanroom lab in Singapore to enable complete product cycle to support customer side evaluation. The facility engineer is responsible for providing high quality engineering services and specifications for the planning, design, construction, start-up, and commissioning of specific Facilities systems for the R&D lab.

Job functions:

The ideal candidate shall be able to perform the following:

· Ensure the R&D laboratories and office facilities operate safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively, while maintaining uninterrupted service delivery to all stakeholders in accordance with agreed service quality levels.

· Develop and implement engineering design criteria and performance standards to meet the operational needs of specialized process equipment, facility systems, and building safety codes.

· Continuously update and optimize system designs, operation procedures, and maintenance standards, incorporating lessons learned and adopting approved innovations and technologies.

· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance technical team and manage external professional service providers to ensure timely, high-quality project execution and facilities operations.

· Conduct multidisciplinary engineering reviews for facility layout modifications and equipment installations, ensuring operational efficiency, optimal space utilization, and regulatory compliance.

· Oversee site occupational safety, health, and environmental compliance programs to meet local authority and company policy requirements.

· Define technical standards and specifications, guide design consultants, and coordinate cross-functional engineering and contractor resources.

· Manage key process and mechanical systems, including but not limited to:

o Chemicals and Bulk/Specialty Gases

o Ultra-Pure/Soft/Industrial/Domestic Water Systems

o Wastewater Treatment and Transfer

o Sanitary/Storm Drain Systems

o Process Cooling Water, Clean Dry Air, Chilled/Hot Water, Air Handling, Exhaust Air, and Humidification Systems

· Monitor and analyze facility system capacity, uptime, and operational performance; identify risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

· Oversee all operations and maintenance activities across R&D labs and office facilities, ensuring system reliability and safety.

· Manage vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed KPIs and service-level agreements.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Engineering, including at least 5 years in a high-tech or semiconductor R&D lab/wafer fabrication environment

· Proven expertise in program and project management, facilities operations, and system optimization.

· Strong knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards and relevant regulatory frameworks to support informed business decisions.

· High attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Demonstrated success working in a matrixed, multinational environment, coordinating with global stakeholders.
