The Audit team

Our audit team supports businesses in this important compliance measure that builds transparency and a complete picture of your financial position and regulatory obligations. Using a single audit approach and methodology across all Grant Thornton firms, our team brings consistent, high quality audit services to companies across the globe.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare audit lead schedules
  • Perform substantive procedures
  • Examine client's documents for exceptions
  • Assist audit seniors to review draft financial statements (such as doing casting and referencing checks)
  • Participate in client's stock count

Qualifications and skills

  • Pursuing a diploma/degree in accounting and finance related in a recognised institution
  • Seek opportunities to learn and making constructive suggestions for improvements
  • Good accounting skills with proficiency in SFRS and SSA, as well as IFRS and ISA
  • Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and written skills
  • Able to handle multiple engagements and competing priorities while working with a team
  • An eye for detail and organised
  • Proficient in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
