About the role
As a Process Engineer on a 1-year contract, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal functioning and continuous improvement of Becton Dickinson's manufacturing processes at our Tuas facility. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your technical expertise to a leading healthcare technology company and help drive operational excellence.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency and product quality
- Analyse process data, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to resolve issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test and validate new manufacturing processes
- Provide technical support and training to production staff to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
- Maintain detailed documentation and records of all process-related activities
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations and best practices in process engineering
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and optimise complex data
- Proficient in process mapping, process validation, Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g. GMP, FDA)
- Local Singaporean/PR residency status only will be prioritised
