The Role: Officer, Accounts Payable (6-month contract)

Location: Paya Lebar

Working Hours: Mon–Thu, 8:30am–6pm; Fri, 8:30am–5:30pm

As an Officer in Accounts Payable, you will play a key role in supporting the company's financial operations and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and record vendor invoices, inter-company transactions, staff expense claims, and corporate card statements within set timelines.
  • Manage petty cash disbursements and ensure timely replenishment of cash floats.
  • Reconcile vendor statements regularly and address any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Oversee top-ups for company-issued cash cards.
  • Conduct random audits on staff claims to verify adherence to company guidelines.
  • Ensure all financial activities comply with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to resolve outstanding issues and unreconciled items.
  • Support audit processes by handling confirmations and responding to auditor queries.
  • Take on additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.

What are we looking for?

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounts payable.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
  • Reliable, thorough, and collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
