Job Descriptions:

Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing MES solutions that support manufacturing and business needs. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, system integration, troubleshooting, and maintaining best practices and documentation. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
MES Implementation:

  • Gather and analyse system requirements

  • Design and develop solutions based on vendor-provided platforms

  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  • Manage production rollout activities

  • Provide post-implementation support, including handling change requests and enhancements

Support for Daily Manufacturing Operations:

  • Drive continuous improvement and optimization of MES processes

  • Ensure system performance, stability, and reliability

  • Lead efforts to enhance MES usage and maximize its operational impact.

  • Collaborate in cross-system integration projects involving PLM, ERP, MES, and Workflow systems, leveraging a solid understanding of master data and system roles

  • Validate and maintain MES data accuracy through thorough process evaluation

  • Serve as the primary MES liaison across departments, organizational levels, and global sites

  • Be available for critical system deployments and act as the escalation point for high-priority incidents

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical project management

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in MES implementation and support

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing production/business processes, with strong learning agility, communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Proven experience in managing MES teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Hands-on experience with system integration (REST/SOAP APIs, OPC, middleware)

  • Knowledge of SQL in Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL

  • Proven programming skills (e.g., J2EE, JSP, Android APP (Framework), C#, Java, JavaScript (Language))
