About the role

Macbuild Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Driver to join our growing team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to various construction sites across the Central Region. This full-time position is an integral part of our operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of resources to support our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operate and maintain company vehicles, including trucks, and lorries, in a safe and responsible manner
  2. Deliver construction materials, equipment, and personnel to designated job sites on time and in good condition
  3. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
  4. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  5. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols
  6. Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed
  7. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for

  1. A valid Singapore driving license, preferably with a good driving record
  2. Experience in driving various commercial vehicles, such as vans, trucks, and lorries
  3. Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, as well as safe driving practices
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  5. Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  6. A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
  7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required
