Job Summary

Love experiments and hands-on discovery? We're looking for Freelance Science Instructors to lead our Junior Scientist and Fun Science programs You'll conduct simple, exciting science experiments and activities that spark curiosity and imagination in children aged 6–12. Perfect for students, educators, or science enthusiasts looking to teach in a fun, informal setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver fun science lessons: Conduct experiments and demonstrations using provided lesson plans.
  • Encourage curiosity: Help students ask questions, observe results, and make discoveries.
  • Ensure smooth class operations: Keep sessions organized, safe, and interactive.
  • Collaborate and communicate: Work closely with coordinators and respond professionally to parent queries.
  • Promote hands-on learning: Foster a positive, exploratory classroom environment.

Key Requirements

  • Strong interest in science and working with children.
  • Confident communicator with good classroom presence.
  • Punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic about learning and teaching.
  • Willing to travel to various school locations across Singapore.
  • Willing to undergo a background check (required for school settings).
  • Able to commit on Mondays for at least 6 months (excluding school holidays).

Interview & Selection Process

Candidates will undergo a 3-stage interview process:

  • Initial Screening & Group Stage (Video Call) – Short virtual interview and group discussion.
  • Face-to-Face Session & Trial Lesson Plan Delivery – Meet in person, receive training, and deliver a short demo segment.
  • Tryout Class (Final Review) – Conduct a supervised class session for final evaluation.

Training Provided

Comprehensive training and class materials provided — no prior teaching experience required
