Project Engineer (Mechanical/Clean Room Project)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform design calculations, cost estimation, and preparation of detailed engineering plans and drawings for ACMV/HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Assist in the planning, design, and execution of cleanroom and semiconductor-related M&E projects.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Support in tender preparation, technical submissions, and evaluation of proposals.
  • Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with specifications, and resolve technical issues on site.
  • Provide technical input and value engineering to improve system performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • From 2 years of relevant M&E working experience in ACMV/HVAC, preferably in cleanroom or semiconductor projects.
  • Strong knowledge of design calculations, cost estimation, and preparation of detailed engineering designs.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for ACMV/HVAC systems.
  • Proficient in engineering software and tools for design and drafting.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
