Overview

A global multi-technology consulting and transformation firm is seeking a senior leader to head its Public Sector Consulting practice in Singapore.

This individual will be responsible for driving market growth, delivery excellence, and trusted client partnerships across key government domains such as defence, healthcare, education, and national digital initiatives. Operating as part of the regional leadership team, the role will shape the organisation's public sector go-to-market strategy, oversee delivery execution, and collaborate across cloud, data, AI, and managed services practices to deliver multi-disciplinary programs.

The successful candidate will balance commercial acumen with thought leadership, leading public sector transformation agendas that align technology strategy with long-term citizen and national outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Market Leadership & Growth

  • Own the public sector portfolio, including P&L accountability, growth targets, and client relationships across ministries and agencies.

  • Develop and execute the firm's go-to-market strategy for the government sector, expanding its reach across new domains.

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for anchor clients, establishing trust and strategic partnerships with public sector leaders.

  • Partner with sales and delivery leadership to build multi-year account plans and program renewals.

  • Represent the firm in public sector forums, partner ecosystems, and industry networks to strengthen brand visibility.

Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure quality execution across complex, multi-competency public sector projects.

  • Oversee large-scale transformation programs involving compliance, risk management, and performance governance.

  • Build local capability in cleared consultants and program managers to support sensitive or regulated engagements.

  • Maintain delivery standards consistent with public sector frameworks and organisational best practices.

Collaboration & Integration

  • Partner with regional practice heads across cloud, data, AI, and managed services to integrate cross-functional expertise into public sector programs.

  • Leverage onshore and offshore delivery models for scale, efficiency, and consistency.

  • Work closely with strategy and governance teams to ensure operational discipline and delivery health.

Thought Leadership & Influence

  • Develop and publish perspectives or frameworks that advance public sector modernisation agendas, including cloud transformation, AI adoption, and smart city innovation.

  • Represent the firm as a credible voice within the public sector technology ecosystem, contributing to policy and digital transformation discourse.

Experience & Profile

  • Senior leadership experience in public sector consulting, digital transformation, or technology services.

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale programs across key public sector domains (e.g. defence, healthcare, digital government).

  • Deep understanding of Singapore's government procurement, compliance, and vendor engagement models.

  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, including P&L responsibility.

  • Track record of leading cross-functional teams and distributed delivery environments.

  • Recognised credibility in at least one domain such as cloud, data, AI, or cybersecurity.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive leadership skills.
