Faculty Position in Digital Finance and AI

The Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) cluster at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) invites applications for a tenure-track, open-rank faculty position in Digital Finance and AI (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level).  

We are seeking an outstanding scholar in digital finance. Experience using machine learning, artificial intelligence or other tools in their research is preferred.

The successful candidate will: 

• Maintain a strong research profile including publications and grant funding
• Contribute to interdisciplinary research, in particular relating to Design and AI, through collaboration with colleagues in engineering, architecture, computer science, and design. 
• Lead the development and teaching of new undergraduate courses in Digital Finance for an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree in design, artificial intelligence, and economics
• Mentor doctoral and postgraduate students in Digital Finance or related interdisciplinary fields
• Experience or interest in fostering collaborations with industry or the public sector will also be considered an advantage. 

Applicants may hold a Ph.D. in Economics, Business, Computer Science or other fields relevant to the study of Digital Finance.  They Applicants should have an excellent record of effective teaching at the university level. We especially seek scholars with the potential to develop new directions in interdisciplinary research and who are interested in collaborating with scientists and technologists.

• A writing sample of their scholarly work, such as a job market paper (for recent Ph.D. graduates) or selected publication (for more advanced candidates).
