Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing maintenance schedules: Creating and maintaining schedules for routine maintenance, shutdowns, and turnarounds.

  • Coordinating with operations and maintenance teams: Ensuring that maintenance activities are aligned with production schedules and requirements.

  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities: Identifying maintenance needs, prioritizing tasks, and allocating resources.

  • Managing work orders: Creating, assigning, and tracking work orders for maintenance activities.

  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards: Verifying that maintenance activities meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Analyzing maintenance data: Reviewing maintenance history, identifying trends, and optimizing maintenance schedules.

  • Collaborating with other departments: Working with departments such as operations, procurement, and inventory management to ensure smooth maintenance execution.

Goals and Objectives

  • Minimize downtime: Ensure that maintenance activities are planned and executed to minimize impact on production.

  • Optimize maintenance costs: Identify cost-effective solutions and prioritize maintenance activities to maximize resource utilization.

  • Improve equipment reliability: Implement proactive maintenance strategies to reduce equipment failures and extend lifespan.

  • Enhance safety: Ensure that maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and optimize maintenance schedules.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills: Ability to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of maintenance planning and scheduling principles: Understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling best practices.

  • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards: Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing maintenance activities in process plants
