As we continue to expand our project portfolio and strengthen our technical capabilities, A.CS Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly competent Principal Engineer (C&S) to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who is strong in design, confident in authority submissions, and able to mentor and guide a growing team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee C&S design for a wide range of projects, including A&A works, industrial buildings, warehouses, linkways, structural strengthening, temporary works, and new development projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with Eurocodes, SS standards, local regulations, and authority requirements.
  • Review and endorse Structural Plans, calculations, reports, and all technical deliverables.
  • Guide and supervise a team of engineers and drafters, ensuring high design quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with the Professional Engineer (PE) to manage BCA, LTA, SCDF, PUB, JTC, NParks, URAsubmissions.
  • Lead coordination with architects, M&E consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Conduct site inspections, evaluate structural conditions, and advise on engineering solutions.
  • Contribute to improving internal design standards, workflows, and project management processes.
  • Provide expert advice in project meetings and represent the company on technical matters.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
  • At least 8 years of solid design experience in Singapore.
  • Strong command of structural design principles, analysis, detailing, and construction practices.
  • Proficient in engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, Prokon, SAP2000, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in authority submissions and local regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to guide junior engineers and maintain high technical standards.
  • Independent, responsible, and capable of delivering solutions under tight timelines.
