Job Description:

Aircraft Engine Build / Strip

  • Take apart and put together engine parts for repair, servicing and overhaul
  • Install engine parts & component onto the aircraft engine or its modules
  • Perform troubleshooting, modification and maintenance work

Aircraft Module Inspection

  • Check engine modules and parts by looking at them and measuring them
  • Perform visual & dimensional inspections of aero engine modules and components
  • Make sure all work follows the correct and approved manuals or instructions
  • Help the Engineering and Quality teams when they investigate any issues
  • Follow all safety rules and keep the work quality very high
  • Always use the correct tools for your tasks
  • Learn new skills to do your job better and support improvements within the company
  • Do any other tasks given by your supervisor or team leader

Aircraft Component Inspection

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection
  • Inspect parts as advised in the engine manual
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings
  • Able to talk and work with people at all levels

Job Requirements

·       Preferably has a certificate in Aerospace or a related field

·       At least 1 year of work experience as a full technician in the aviation industry (not including training, helper, or assistant roles)

·       Technician must have both hands-on skills and theoretical knowledge to pass any required skill tests

·       Able to work well in a team and stay organized

·       Experience working with GE, Rolls Royce, Engine Alliance GP, and PW commercial engines
