Bank Sector Client - Singapore (Technology Operations Function: PDPA, Personally Identifiable Information Protection & Bank Regulatory Projects)

Responsibilities:


• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they align with PDPA regulations


• Data Collection and Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and insights that support compliance with PDPA


• Process Enhancement and Modelling: Develop and optimize business processes to ensure they meet PDPA standards


• Stakeholder Management and Communication: Act as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of PDPA requirements


• Solution Implementation and Testing: Oversee the implementation of solutions that ensure compliance with PDPA, including conducting tests to validate effectiveness


• Gap Analysis: Identify gaps in current processes and systems related to PDPA compliance and recommend improvements


• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with PDPA compliance


• Creating Business Requirements: Develop detailed business requirements for systems and processes to ensure they meet PDPA compliance


• Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on PDPA compliance and related processes


• Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve processes to maintain PDPA compliance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience


• Project Management certification is an added plus


• Experience in banking, PDPA Singapore, Personally Identifiable Information Protection, and regulatory projects is mandatory


• 12 to 15 years of IT work experience, including years in managing complex projects at enterprise level with cross domain dependencies


• Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions


• Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies, resource management practices and change management techniques


• Strong and proven Stakeholder Management skills, problem solving skills and can-do attitude


• Experience in working with a large number of stakeholders from multiple functions (business users, system owners and operations users)


• Ability to quickly pick up and undertake necessary steps to fulfil internal procedures/processes in accordance with compliance and governance framework


• Strong capabilities in producing project reporting to various Project Working Group and Project Steering Committee forums
