• Hands-on classroom, tutoring experience and opportunities to work alongside experienced tutors under the Mentorship of Academic Director, Mr Mo. Sher who is an NIE Trained, ex MOE Educator with 20 years of teaching and mentoring experience .
• Techniques in teaching Science effectively, using our Structured Inhouse notes.
• Training to effectively teach both theoretical concepts and practical components, particularly for Lower Sec Science.
• Mastery of our signature narrative pedagogy to help you stand out in the competitive tuition landscape.
• Skills in differentiating yourself as a tutor and creating memorable, engaging lessons to expand your future market.
• Skills in content creation, curriculum planning, question analysis, and lab-based learning.

• Insight into transforming students from struggling to top performers — experiencing the true impact of teaching.
  
  Who We're Looking For:

  A Diploma or Degree in a relevant field (Education, Science, etc.).

  • At least 1 year of experience teaching small groups of primary/secondary school students. Fresh graduates or undergraduates with no experience but strong academic results will be considered too.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a desire to see students succeed.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Able to work on weekends and weekday afternoons/evenings.
    
    Stand-Out Candidates Will Have:

  • Strong academic results in Science (e.g., A at O/A Levels).

  • A proven talent for managing a classroom with positive reinforcement.

    5-Day Week (4 weekdays, 1 Saturday) or (3 Weekdays, 1 Saturday and half Sunday)
    
    Working Hours:
    
    4 weekdays, 1 Saturday
    
    4 Weekdays: 3:00PM to 9:30PM
    
    Saturdays - 8:30AM to 5:00PM
    
    3 Weekdays, 1 Saturday and half Sunday)
    
    3 Weekdays: 3:00PM to 9:30PM
    
    Saturdays - 8:30AM to 5:00PM
    
    Sundays: 12:00PM to 5:00PM

  • Our Hiring Process:

  • First Interview: A virtual interview via Zoom, including a short diagnostic test.

  • Second Interview: An in-person interview and teaching demonstration at our Tampines branch.

Job Description

1) Hands-on training directly under the guidance of the Academic Director. The programme is designed to bridge theory and practice, ensuring that teachers are not only well-versed in subject knowledge but also confident in applying effective teaching methods in real classroom settings.

By the end of the mentorship programme, mentee educators will:

• Gain mastery in applying the academy's in-house pedagogical approaches.

• Be equipped with a strong foundation for long-term success in teaching.

2) Assist in refining and adding further value to the curriculum for Secondary School Science (Bonus: Familiar with the Singapore secondary syllabus (Lower Sec Science, Upper Sec Chemistry/Biology/Physics)
