Work location: Tampines Care Home/Woodlands/Bukit Batok/Bukit Panjang

Job requirements:

  • Diploma/ Degree in physiotherapy recognised by the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council.
  • Preferably 1 to 2 years of experience, with experience in rehab services, nursing homes or hospitals.
  • Demonstrates good communications and people engagement skills, preferably the use of local languages and dialects.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong networks and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Good organizational and coordination abilities.
  • Those with no experience will be considered for junior roles.

Job Description:

1.Regularly evaluate, monitor, and review treatments to document residents' progress and needs, ensuring that interventions remain appropriate and effective.

2.Assess and prescribe assistive devices as needed to enhance residents' functional abilities in activities of daily living.

3.Assess, evaluate, and identify the rehabilitation needs of residents. Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy programs to facilitate, restore, improve, or maintain movement and function.

4.Maintain effective communication and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams involved in the rehabilitation process. Refer residents to relevant professionals for further consultation and specialized intervention.
