Our client is a global organisation providing a range of engineering, construction and maintenance services. Due to their business growth in APAC, we are partnering with them to look for a Business Analyst (APAC) based in Singapore regional office.

As a Business Analyst, you will provide operational and analytical support to the APAC Business Expert, helping to manage financial data, prepare business reports, and coordinate information systems to ensure smooth financial and operational processes across Asia-Pacific business units.

Job responsibilities
  • Financial Data Support
    • Assist in managing and analyzing financial data using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, Power Query).
    • Help prepare monthly and quarterly reports, budget trackers, and cost summaries.
    • Support reconciliation and documentation tasks.

  • Business Intelligence (BI)
    • Help maintain and design BI dashboards and reports.
    • Work with business teams to gather reporting needs and assist in visualization updates.
    • Ensure data accuracy and timely refreshes.

  • ERP System Assistance
    • Provide basic support for ERP system tasks such as user access, data entry, and testing.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve minor system issues and support process documentation.

  • Business Support Activities
    • Assist in preparing materials for finance meetings and internal reviews.
    • Support finance and operations teams with ad-hoc analysis and insights as required.
    • Support internal control and compliance-related activities.

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, finance support, or systems coordination.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Familiarity with SAC or other BI tools is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems (SAP or similar) is desirable.
