Mentor and guide a team of Trade Services Specialists to achieve the following targets

  • Drive Multi Trade Line utilization to maximize fee income.
  • Ensuring efficient and error free processing of trade transactions in line with international standards
  • Making available trade product and services to meet customers' needs
  • Ensuring end to end integrated trade system

Business Performance

  • Guide Officer staff under supervision on trade products, procedures and policies.
  • Enhance product and services in meet local and international markets requirements.
  • Work with Corporate and Commercial Banking Department to promote trade business.
  • Drive the trade business utilization with both Lending Units to achieve trade fee, fund and asset growth
  • Motivate and equip the team with relevant skills set to improve operational skills in trade and related up to date knowledge to enable them to excel in their job.

Operations and Process Flow

  • Regular monitoring of outstanding and overdue bills in accordance with guidelines and policy.
  • Supervise staff to provide efficient, error free processing meeting and compliant to internal and external regulations, policies and procedures
  • Review product process flow to improve efficiency and mitigate operational risk
  • Assist the ICBA system enhancements and interfaces
  • Ensure checks conducted prior to processing of transactions.
