What impact can you make in this role?
As a VP you will lead and manage AI/ML security initiatives and operations (AIOPS) for Cyber Security Assurance & Defence (CSAD). This is an exciting opportunity for someone to demonstrate impact, value, and benefit of emerging AI related security technologies and enable AI for cyber defence.  Your engagement with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation will foster a robust and resilient cyber security environment, thereby safeguarding GIC's digital assets and operations.

What will you do as an VP, Cyber Security Engineering, AI Security Specialist? 

Operationalise AI uses cases for cyber security defence in areas such as threat detection, threat exposure management and threat response automation.Conduct security research on adversarial AI techniques, including detecting and mitigating AI generated cyber threats. Apply natural language processing (NLP) techniques to analyse information and identify suspicious activity.Build scalable solutions that integrate with existing security platforms.  Identify, explore, and participate in testing of AI security controls.Manage vendors for CSAD.Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure security measures, including AI related inter-processes are integrated into all aspects of the business.Assist in audit, regulatory and incident reporting matters where relevant.Establish a culture of collaboration, excellence, and teamwork.Keep up to date with industry and technology trends and breaking news that may be relevant to keep GIC secure.

What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role? 

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. At least 5-7 years working in a cyber security operations function or similar.Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, attack techniques (MITRE ATT&CK), and threat detection methodologies.  Working knowledge of Data Science, AI technologies such as NLP, Machine Learning and Generative AIExperienced with programming languages, preferably Python, C++/C# or R with experience in AI-related libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).  Strong analytical and practitioner skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to break down complex problems and articulate them clearly to a non-technical audience.Relevant certifications in SANS, OffSec or other relevant credentialsKnowledge of cybersecurity organizational practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering, threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
